Like many others in the South, we've been home since Monday evening.
We were anticipating that this snow storm would have been much worse, but thankfully,
we only received a few inches of beautiful snow, not much ice and the power has not gone out.
We've been working on projects during the day and
curling up in front of the fireplace in the evenings.
I hope you are staying warm and safe.
If you are looking at the same beauty I am, I hope you get out and enjoy it a little,
especially if you have children!
Love your cute little cabin all surrounded by snow. We are hip high in snow here, so it seems funny to see what we call a dusting, make so much trouble for people. Hope you enjoy it while it last.
ReplyDeleteWe went sledding last night and the snow will probably be gone by the end of the weekend. We always wonder what people up north, who get a lot of snow often, say about us when there is so much hype about a little bit of snow down here. It definitely puts a halt on everyday life here. I grew up in south Florida and didn't even see snow until I was 21. I'm not sure if I could handle much more than what we got. You guys are tough!
DeleteYour cabin looks so snug and cozy and just beautiful.
